Fall is coming!
I drove up to Johnson City, Tennessee yesterday to meet with a wonderful couple who are getting Married July of next year - Kelly Martin and Ken Davis at the location of their reception, Maple Lane farm. What a beautiful day! As I was coming in to Johnson City the sun was breaking through a cloudy sky and forming unique patterns of light on the hillsides. There was this one hill that caught my eye as I drove by...a lone tree poised above two interesting dissecting slopes. I waited as different patterns of light formed on the hillside and caught this one moment when the sun highlighted the tree over a shaded background.

I noticed that you are a scuba diver. Do you do underwater photography as well? Where have you been diving? My husband and I are divers and he is an underwater photographer.
Oh yes, what kind of camera are you using?
I think my favorite photo so far is the lone tree (the first in this series titled "Fall is Coming". For some reason I have a real love of lone trees standing among a country field. The play of light is wonderfull! I recently noticed this play of light when we visited Sedona Arizona - a fabulous place to go not only to visit but to have fun with photography!
