Quraishi-Baig Wedding

Okay, I am officially worn out after documenting Fatima's wedding ceremony over a three day period...but I must say that it was truly a BLAST! I just finished editing all of the images and wanted to share a few of them with you. It was a spectacular ceremony with over 500 guests. Fatima and Rehan were such a beautiful and gracious couple...I really enjoyed working with them. On an aside, I am very excited and fortunate to have a top graphic designer on my staff now. She has won numerous awards for excellence in design and brings a rare blend of graphic and fine art experience...she also happens to be my sister! She has provided invaluable assistance on previous albums and will be assuming an even more active role in future album design. Once Fatima's album has been completed I will update this site with a link so you can take a look at it.

Okay, here is Fatima's completed album! I would love to read your comments... http://www.waldorfphotographicart.com/gallery/quraishi-baig

Beautiful Tree

My wife and I passed by this spot a couple of weeks ago and I had to stop and capture this moment. The sun was just setting and was casting it's light directly towards this tree and reflecting all of the color back and into the water. Unfortunately these beautiful fall colors don't last very long.

Bruce Pearl Shoot

City View commissioned me to photograph the cover of next month's issue featuring U.T.'s basketball coach Bruce Pearl and a nice spread on the inside with a question and answer session. I'll be covering this Friday's game as well to capture a few shots of coach Pearl in action. Be sure to check out the December issue.

Brooke and Jonathan's Engagement

I drove down to Mt. Berry, Georgia last Sunday to photograph Brooke and Jonathan's engagement. There were so many great locations on the campus of Berry college where Brooke and Jonathan met we couldn't cover them all. In the first photograph with the tree lined drive you can see the leaves raining down in the background every time the wind blew. Their wedding is going to be held on the campus in "Frost Chapel" which is a majestic stone chapel built by students of the college.

Taylor and Jordan's Wedding

I had the privilege of documenting the wedding of Taylor Sherr to Jordan Burris on October 21st. This was a beautiful wedding held outside on the property of the groom’s parents. I love to photograph children and this wedding had no shortage of cute kids. Brittany and I had a great time…I even gave up tickets to the UT/Alabama game! We whisked the bride and groom away to a private location next to the river to capture some great moments of them together. I would love to hear your comments!

Erica and Scott's Engagement

I wanted to post a few images from Erica Greene and Scott Shaw's engagement session on October 15th. We drove up to Asheville to photograph on the grounds of the Biltmore where they plan to have their reception. You just can't lose with all the locations to choose from at the Biltmore along with a beautiful couple!

Jill and Nick's Engagement Session

As you can see from the number of different locations, I had so much fun photographing Jill and Nick for their engagement session I didn't want to stop. It was a perfect day...we drove up to the spot where Nick proposed to Jill just outside of Abingdon Virginia not far from the campus of Emory and Henry college where they met. Jill and Nick are such a pleasure to work with...I can't wait to photograph their wedding next year!
