Johnson-Wade Wedding

Meg and Robert met in Memphis, the city of bar-b-que and blues. But there was nothing blue about this couple joining their lives together. Robert, a Vanderbilt grad, spent most of his childhood in a cabin in Gatlinburg, playing in the backyard facing the Pigeon River. Since this was such a big part of his life while growing-up, it was the perfect location for their wedding. Robert and Meg both have such a laid-back personality complimented by flip-flops and a post ceremony swim in the Pigeon River, that the wedding was so much fun. It was hard not to put down the camera and jump on into the fun. It was a wonderful day and they were a pleasure to work with. Congratulations you two! Bayani-Cole Wedding

Yegi and Chris are such a wonderfully unique couple. From the time I first met Yegi at a bridal show, I could see her excitement about the big day in her eyes. It is always so inspiring to shoot a wedding for someone who can't wait to start her life with the person she loves. The wedding was absolutely beautiful at Butterfly Gap. Yegi's mother is from Iran and Chris's family is from the Knoxville area, so their wedding was an intricate infusion of Persian and Christian traditions. It was truly unique. We had a blast at their wedding and wish them all the happiness in their new life together. Congratulations! To view more images from their wedding, click on the image below.

Clark-Hickman Engagement Session

Megan and Eric are such a fun couple! Their personalities compliment each other wonderfully. Their engagement shots posed a problem since Eric's left hand was covered in a cast; but by the end of the session, we were very proficient at hiding the big blue cast. As much fun as the engagement session was, we can't wait to shoot their wedding on July 7th! To view more shots from their engagement session, click on the image below.

Chilcutt-Carmichael Wedding

Courtney and Patrick were married at Cresent Bend. These two met while attending classes at the University of Tennessee. With both of their blood running orange, it was a perfect match. We photographed their engagement session around downtown Knoxville and on the campus of UT. Their wedding was a blast...Courtney has a very sweet manner and calm temperament which made the entire day delightful. Patrick was equally as fun with a laid back attitude and group of fun friends making the day unforgettable. Everything from the dress to the shoes and the flowers were exquisite. Congratulations Patrick and Courtney! To view more images from their wedding, click on the image below.

Greene-Shaw Wedding

Erica and Scott (or Cinderella and Prince Charming if you prefer) were a pleasure to photograph. Their wedding was in Asheville, North Carolina in a Baptist church reminiscent of a beautiful cathedral in Europe. Her beautiful white train falling on the stairs of a long aisle under a domed celling was absolutely stunning. The reception following at Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate was nothing short of a fairy tale. It was exquisite. Guests enjoyed great music, dancing and a buffet fit for a king. Even down to the coffee bar with copper canisters filled with rich coffee and chocolate covered stirring spoons, every detail was covered. The day was absolutely unbelievable, and just when it could not possible be any more perfect, a horse and carriage arrived with a driver in a top hat to carry away the newly wed couple. As they rode off on the dirt road they left behind an array of pink rose petals, happy guests and very pleased parents. It was a wonderful day and a great couple to work with.

Hurst-Emory Wedding

Jeannine and Timothy...what a great pair! From the second we walked into the salon, we knew we were in for a treat. Jeannine has an infectious laugh that she kept going all day long. They both were great to work with and made for a really fun day. Even with their vibrant personalities, they are so sweet together. The wedding was at a beautiful stone church in Sevierville, TN with a reception following was also beautiful at a new log lodge in the hills of Tennessee. The little flowers girls and ring bearer made for some hilarious and also touching images. Congratulations Jeannine and Timothy! To see a few images from their wedding click on the shot below.

Mero-Koch Wedding

Katherine and Adam are a very beautiful couple. They were great to work with throughout the entire day. We really enjoyed getting to know them and their gentle and kind spirits. Katherine was one of the most calm and peaceful brides I have ever seen. It was wonderful to see two people so ready to spend the rest of their lives together. The wedding was at St. Elizabeth's Church near Farragut and made for a wonderful ceremony site. The reception following was also a blast at Gettysvue Country Club where we saw some of Katherine's dance moves! As the sunset kissed the golf course, Katherine and Adam left a beautiful day behind.

Erica Greene Bridal Portrait

Erica's bridal portraits were absolutely stunning! I had a wonderful time photographing her session at the Biltmore in Asheville, NC. Her sweet nature made her a pleasure to work with. Even with the powerfully beautiful mansion and landscape, her timeless beauty matched the scene well. I cannot wait for her wedding on July 1st in Asheville.

Fahey-Vincent Engagement and Wedding

I had a great time shooting the engagment session and wedding for these Knoxville natives. This wedding was a dream. I was thrilled when she asked if I would mind coming to Seaside to photograph her wedding. Not only was the couple beautiful, they were a ton of fun. Mandi really showed her creative and artistic side by choosing vibrant colors matched with natural elements that really captured the essence of a Seaside wedding. The seascape was just breathtaking. Having the wedding on the ocean was perfect for Lance since he races off-shore boats. The two loves of his life in one place!
I even had a blast watching the flower girl being completely fascinated by the sea and sand. It really made for some priceless images. Congratulations Mandi and Lance! It was a pleasure.

Sarah, a recent graduate of Farragut High School, will soon be gracing the doors of UT. She is an intern here at Waldorf Photographic Art and has a promising future in photography. Gao-Page Wedding

Yan Gao and Bob Page were actually married in Beijing, China with the family and relatives of Yan at the ceremony. Yan and Bob wanted to have another celebration of their marriage with their friends back in the States. Although it followed a large ceremony in Beijing, the celebration at Club LeConte was filled with fun families and friends from all over the world. It was truly a wonderful multi-cultural event! The couple was a pleasure to work with and we wish them peace and happiness on their new journey together!
