Jenkins-Dabbs Wedding

The day started out a little scary last Sunday...Beth had her heart set on having her wedding outside in the courtyard at Whitestone Inn but the weather that morning was stormy and there was a power outage. So Beth and her bridesmaids were getting ready using only the power from a portable generator. Fortunately the skies opened up and the power came back on just in time for the ceremony which turned out beautiful! This was my first wedding using our new remote controlled arial camera and I think we captured some great photographs. To view a few more images from Beth's wedding, click on the photo below...

Disterdick-Tate Wedding

Sarah Bolen has been interning with me for almost two years and she had the opportunity to photograph her first wedding going solo on April 12. I must say that she did an outstanding job! Johnna and Justin were married at the the "White House" which was the private residence of their friends in Chattanooga. To view a few images from their wedding, click on the photo below...

Rick and Kelley's Portrait Session

I photographed Rick and Kelley this past weekend at the Richmond Hill Inn in Asheville. This one of the nicest B&B's I have seen and the property is gorgeous. We had so many great locations to choose from and the light was perfect. They truly make a beautiful couple! To view a few more images from their session, click on the photo below...

Antoinette and Justin's Engagement

City View Cover Shoot

Check out the May issue if City View hitting the stands in a couple of weeks. The model gracing the cover of the magazine also happens to be none other than my senior photographer and assistant, Leah Bullard. In addition to being a very creative and talented photographer I find out that she also makes a great cover model! Thanks to Walter, Beverly, Lynn and Chris for allowing us to use the Volunteer Princess yacht for a perfect backdrop. To view a few more images from the shoot, click on the photo below...

Ron Nutt's Birthday!

I must say that this was one of the most spectacular events I have had the pleasure of photographing. Several guests helped Ron Nutt celebrate his 70th birthday, from Congressman John Duncan to the President of U.T. and his spouse, Dr. & Mrs John Peterson as well as all of Ron's children and grandchildren. Lynda Vento did a superb job of orchestrating a magnificent party for Ron. The evening started with cocktails at Ron's house on the river accompanied by an authentic African band. The flower arrangements provided by Sam Franklin were over the top! Delores Davis did a great job of pulling all of the details together. After several toasts and a wonderful dinner catered by Holly Hambright, Ron and the guests were treated to "Rocky Top" and a few other songs from the U.T. marching band! Next was nothing other than a cruise aboard the 100 foot Volunteer Princess Yacht with every imaginable dessert to choose from. Then to cap off the evening Lynda arranged for a personal boomsday for Ron...a 10 minute fireworks show over the water that was truly awesome...happy birthday Ron! Holmes-Carpenter Wedding, April 6th

Wow...Leah, Ashley and I had such a wonderful time with Emily and Jordan this past weekend at Whitestone Inn. We were blessed with gorgeous weather on Sunday and the ceremony and reception were perfect! Jordan is serving our country in the armed forces and is scheduled to leave for Afghanistan in a few weeks which prompted them to move their date up a couple of months. Congratulations Emily and Jordan! To view a few more images from their wedding click on the photo below...

Jenkins-Dabbs Engagement

I couldn't resist taking advantage of the beautiful wildflowers and daffodils that are blooming everywhere for Beth and Ryan's engagement session. We were fortunate that the weather cleared up enough on Sunday to allow us to run out and capture some great images. To view a few more photos from their session, click on the image below...

Krieger-Livesey Engagement

Despite the inclement weather on Saturday, Amelia and I had a great time with Amber and Eugene. We actually started with Amber's bridal portrait at the Crowne Plaza (which I will not post until after their wedding since Eugene is not allowed to see). We then headed over to the Historic L&N Station which is also where my office is located. There are some fantastic spots which are protected from the rain. Amelia can't wait to photograph Amber and Eugene's wedding which will be held at the Woodburn Historical House in Pendleton, SC. To view a few images from their session, click on the photo below...
