Wallin-Spradllin Wedding

Antoinette knew exactly what she wanted for her perfect wedding since she is also a wedding planner. Leah, Amelia and I had such a great time photographing every moment of her day! We ran all over the "Old City" and other areas downtown photographing Antoinette with the bridesmaids and Justin with the groomsmen. Their ceremony and reception were held at the Knoxville Museum of Art. To view a few images from their wedding, click on the photo below...

Hudson-Purnell Wedding

Christy, Sarah and Corey had a wonderful time photographing Samantha and Carson's wedding at the Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian church and the Cherokee Country Club. Christy has been a senior photographer with me for over two years and she always blows me away with her creative eye...I just love how she sees things differently. Samantha and Carson were such a great couple and were so much fun to be around! To view a few images from their wedding, click below...

Antoinette Wallin's Bridal

I had a wonderful time photographing Antoinette's bridal portrait at the Bleak House. Her dress from "A Joyous Occasion" was gorgeous and her veil which was also used by her mother in her wedding was one of the most beautiful I have seen. To view a few images, click on the photo below...

Samantha Hudson's Bridal

I had a great time photographing Samantha Hudson's bridal portrait at the Cherokee Country Club. You can tell Samantha has a background in dance by the way she carries herself so gracefully. The late afternoon light was perfect!

Chimney Tops Hike

In keeping with my plan to hike a different trail in the Smokies each month, my family and I hiked the Chimney Tops. The weather was perfect as we headed out with the temperature about 70 degrees. I had forgotten how strenuous Chimney Tops is for such a short hike but it is well worth it when you get to the top! Click on the photo below to view a few images...

Fincher-McCune Wedding

The Holy Ghost Catholic church served as a gorgeous backdrop for Chris and Lisa's wedding! This historic church has so much character and interest; Leah, Corey and I had such a great time photographing there. Lisa and Chris chose to see each other prior to the ceremony and we captured some great images of their first glance. To view a few images from their wedding, click on the photo below...

From the lavender covered aisles to the beautiful arrangements and rafter strung lighting at the reception...everything was perfect! Sarah and I felt very creatively inspired! What a cool location for a ceremony at Talahi Park in Sequoyah Hills and reception on the 5th floor of the Downtown Grill and Brewery. Hiking Mt LeConte

This time of year I tend to work 7 days a week, but I decided to take a day off with the family and hike up Mt Leconte. We left early Sunday morning and the weather was great with the temperature around 65 degrees. We packed a lunch and had a picnic at the cliff tops and just took in the beauty of the mountains. Lea-Wallimann Wedding

After Meredith and Micheal's wedding Saturday, we headed to the top of Lookout Mountain on Sunday to photograph Jenny and Jean Marc's wedding. Their ceremony took place at the Lookout Mountain Baptist Church and the reception followed at the Fairyland Club. This was a very interesting wedding with a mixture of cultures, Jenny from Korea and Jean Marc from France. Jenny did an amazing job of planning every detail of her wedding and incorporating traditions from each cultural background. I just love this image below when Jenny was waiting with her father in the stairwell of the church just before the ceremony. I rarely use flash and I am a big fan of Vermeer, I love the emotion of natural window light. To view a few images from their wedding, click on the image below...

Kmiec-Crawford Wedding

Meredith first emailed me about 6 months before she was actually engaged just to let me know how much she loved my work and would often visit my blog just to see some of the weddings I had been photographing. That was one of the biggest compliments I could have! I was thrilled when she emailed me 6 months later to tell me the good news! Meredith and Michael were such a pleasure to work with and they made Leah, Corey and I feel like part of the family. Their ceremony took place at the Brainerd United Methodist church in Chattanooga and reception at the historic Read House. To see a few more images from their wedding, click on the image below...

Childress-Clabough Wedding

For those that don't know Ryan Childress, he plays forward for Tennessee. I love the way he proposed to Lauren Clabough after the win against Georgia back in January! On the day of their wedding, Ryan was still recovering from his knee surgery but fortunately he was able to walk down the aisle at the end of the ceremony and he did a great job on the dance floor with some help from Lauren. Their ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the reception followed at Crescent Bend...I also included a few images from their rehearsal dinner aboard the Volunteer Princess. Gotto-Campbell Wedding

After photographing Christy's wedding in Nashville, Sarah and I returned Saturday morning to join Amelia in documenting Jennifer Gotto and Dustin Campbell's wedding at Church Street United Methodist church in Knoxville. Jennifer and Dustin were such a fun couple...we had a great time with them. This is one of my favorite churches to photograph and I have a special 400mm lens that I reserve just for shooting from the rear balcony that lets me get up close and personal. I feel like the paparazzi when I use it! The reception followed at the Knoxville Museum of Art. To view a few images from their wedding, click on the image below...

Chassereau-Bryan Wedding

I was thrilled to photograph Christy and Andrew's wedding on July 11th! Christy has been a senior photographer with me since December of 2006 and is now in charge of the Nashville market for Waldorf Photographic Art. One thing was for sure...Christy had definite ideas as to how she wanted everything done and it went perfectly! Leah, Sarah and I started her day at the Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville and then headed to "Escape" salon in the heart of Belle Meade for hair and make-up. On our way we stopped of at Bread and Company for a quick bite and in walks Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban...how cool! She looked unbelievable after just having her baby! After the salon we headed to the famous Cheekwood Mansion for her ceremony and reception. What a great day! To view a few images, click on the photo below...

This was my first opportunity to photograph a maternity session and Jenny could not have looked better...she certainly makes it easy to capture beautiful images!
